Shahid Hassan Boni (born 1992) is a visual artist currently based in Hunza, Pakistan. He completed his BFA from the National College of Arts, Lahore in 2021 specialising in Miniature Painting and received a distinction for his efforts.

Shahid incorporates elements from traditional Mughal and Persian miniature paintings his work can be seen as a visual representation of his experiences with displacement

In normal circumstances, artists often (if not always) complain about their contemporaries, predecessors and the younger generation; about galleries, critics, curators, collectors; the government, the society and their families. A major chunk of Urdu poetry consists of bards whining on and on about the unjust conditions and the fate. To them, and many other creative practitioners, every other person is an enemy, or borrowing Sartre’s phrase, “the hell.”
